Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Chasing Growth t/a Intetrix Solutions (“Intetrix Solutions”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information in connection with WashDeck, our car-wash operations software (the “Service”). We are based in South Africa and process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

WashDeck is used by car-wash businesses (“Businesses”) to run their operations. Where a Business enters information about its own customers and staff into WashDeck, that Business is the responsible party for that information and we act as an operator (processor) on its behalf, processing it only to provide the Service.

Information we collect

• Account information - your name, email address, business name, the staff login username and role a Business assigns, and the password or PIN you set (passwords and PINs are stored only as secure one-way hashes, never in plain text).
• Operational data that a Business enters - for example vehicle plates, wash packages, job records and notes, inventory, photographs of vehicles taken at check-in, and customer names and phone numbers where the Business chooses to capture them. We also keep an activity log of actions staff take in the app, and the device details needed to send push notifications to staff who turn them on.
• Payment information - subscription billing is handled by our payment processor (Paystack). Card details are entered on Paystack's own secure page and never reach our servers; we store only the Paystack customer and subscription references needed to manage your plan, and the brand and last four digits of the card where Paystack returns them.
• Technical data - basic log data such as IP address and timestamps, used for security, rate-limiting and troubleshooting.
• Cookies - we use a single essential, HTTP-only session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

How we use information

• To provide, secure and support the Service.
• To process subscriptions and billing.
• To send transactional emails such as password resets, account and billing notices.
• To protect the Service against abuse, fraud and unauthorised access.
• To comply with our legal obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run WashDeck, under appropriate safeguards:

• Paystack - payment processing for subscriptions.
• Twilio SendGrid - sending transactional email.
• DigitalOcean - hosting and infrastructure.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, users or the public.

International transfers

Some of our service providers process data outside South Africa. Where personal information is transferred across borders, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected in line with POPIA.

Data retention

We keep account and operational data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards as needed to comply with legal, accounting or reporting obligations. A Business may request deletion of its data, subject to those obligations.

Security

We protect information using encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed credentials (passwords and staff PINs are stored only as one-way hashes, and sign-in attempts are rate-limited), tenant isolation so one Business cannot access another's data, and role-based access controls checked on our servers for every action rather than only hidden in the app. Changing someone's role, disabling their account or resetting their password ends their existing sessions immediately. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

Your rights

Subject to POPIA, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@intetrixsolutions.tech. If a Business holds your information as the responsible party, please contact that Business directly; we will assist them as their operator.

Children

WashDeck is a business tool and is not directed to children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
